This sweet, intergenerational family portrait session took place just about a week ago when we had a spike in our temperature. Winter in Chicago can be brutal and bitterly cold at times, especially this winter with the temperatures in the past month …
Frank and Erika had a beautifully classic, Chicago wedding that took place in Lincoln Park, the most beautiful neighborhood in the city (though I may be biased since I live there). Both bride and groom got ready with their wedding party at the Hotel Lincoln. Erika’s dress was a lovely, 1920’s style gown with detailed beading and a loose waist. I …
Nicole and Eric’s beautifully classic wedding took place at the Hotel Palomar in Chicago’s River North district. The entire wedding was filled with the rich cultural traditions of Judaism, from a ketubah signing to the breaking of a glass.
Elaina and Mark’s portrait session in Chicago’s Lincoln Park provided the perfect autumnal backdrop. Wandering between the Lily Pond, the North Pond, and the famous honeycomb pavilion right at the center of the park gave us plenty of opportunities for beautiful pictures.
This fun wedding took place entirely in Chicago’s River West neighborhood, with portraits new the Chicago mural on Ohio Street and under the Fulton Market sign. The ceremony and reception took place at The Dawson.

Claire and Aaron’s intimate Chicago wedding took place at the Thompson Hotel in the Gold Coast, with a beautifully cozy dinner reception following in the library of Gilt Bar in River West. This was the couple’s second marriage, so they chose to go the short and sweet route. Claire’s son walked her down the aisle, where Aaron met her with a big smile and lots of laughter sprinkled the ceremony. Afterwards, the couple chose to forego any big portrait sessions, dancing, or speeches. Instead, friends and family gathered together and simply mingled in joyful celebration.
David and Jaysin’s engagement session took place in the very heart of Chicago, on and around the Clarke Street Bridge, Michigan Avenue, Chicago’s famous Riverwalk, and the surrounding streets.
Sam and Martina’s summer wedding was nothing short of nautical! Pictures around the city and the ceremony on a boat on Lake Michigan made for a perfect day for the perfect couple!
