Viola's Birthday Party at Kids Science Lab Lincoln Park

Viola celebrated her 4th birthday with some of her closest friends and classmates at the Kids Science Lab in Lincoln Park.

Kids, young and old, all had fun diving into various experiments and learning a thing or two about science.

After everyone washed their hands, everyone was swiftly moved to another room where there was a Mickey Mouse theme sweet table waiting for them.

Birthday Party at Goldfish Swim School

This past weekend, we celebrated our own Edison's 5th birthday at Goldfish Swim School in Roscoe Village which he's been going since it was first opened in January 2013.  From deathly afraid of putting his head under the water ('cause there were sharks down there, he claimed) when we first started to now he can swim like a fish, the staff at Goldfish has all been very patience and friendly with little kids.  The water is always warm at 90 degree and the pool is only 4-foot deep.  It's a space dedicated to help kids learn how to swim.

It turns out to be a perfect party space as well.  Edison invited 24 of his friends to join him for a birthday party at the pool.  Most of the kids' parents also joined in at the pool and have some quality bonding time with their kids on a Saturday afternoon.

My friend, Elysia from Elysia Root Cake, made us a beautiful Disney Frozen Cake that was enough to feed everybody and some more.

Everyone had a blast!
